BBD Bursary Programme

BBD has a bursary programme that is aimed at providing support for talented IT students in selected fields of Information Technology (IT). The bursary programme is designed for those students that are considering a career in software development, which will cover some of costs associated with university studies such as tuition fees, prescribed, books, residence accommodation and meals, along with a monthly allowance for incidentals. Both academic merit and financial need will be considered during the selection process

BBD invites applications from students wishing to register for the 2014 academic year in the following fields:

BSc/ B Eng. degrees or equivalent in
Computer Science
Computer Engineering
Software Engineering
Computer Science

Bursary Requirements

South African Citizens
Enrolment at a South African university in 2014
An average of 65% for the current academic year
Interested in pursuing a career in software development/IT

Your application must include

A copy of your certified Identity Document
A copy of your CV
Latest academic results.

Preference will be given to applicants from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and people living with disabilities.
